It was such a fabulous, relaxing weekend. I was able to get some writing done while planning some events which I will post here as soon as I have everything confirmed.
I went to Canyon Lake Friday night and enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner in New Braunfels then came back home Saturday morning and spent a few hours at a bead show with my daughter. I then went to Luckenbach, TX and planned for my evening after settling into my cabin. I enjoyed dinner in Fredericksburg at Catfish Haven followed by a fabulous evening in Luckenbach enjoying the sweet music of Asleep at the Wheel. I made conversation with the gentleman selling the t-shirts, cd's etc... which I didn't realize was the bus driver. He was very easy going and happy to share some "Ray" stories. It was a great evening and I am looking forward to returning to the scene of the crime. Sunday morning I had breakfast in Fredericksburg at Andy's which was fantastic then slowly made my way south by way of the Blanco River for some fishing. Then I went to my home away from home then finally arrived back in SA this morning. My weekend served as a perfect palette for some writing and some much needed relaxation. This is my sanctuary, my refuge and part of my hammock tucked in the horizon. We must all find our place, our zone and it doesn't matter where it is at only that it makes us feel good, special and rewarded. It takes time to get here and I can assure you I don't always feel this way but I am getting to where I feel this way often. I am now off my medication and happy to report that I am making better and smarter decisions for myself resulting in complete satisfaction and no regrets. This is possible for everyone as long as we stay focused on the outcome.
