For so long my heart just hasn't been inspired to write or to read. It is time for me to try it again and on June 21st at the Barnes & Noble at La Cantera I will have the opportunity to rise to the occasion. This will be my debut reading after hibernating for so long and if I am successful then it means I am back and if not I will try again. Please join me if you are available. I have some new poetry inspired by my trip to New Mexico and some other poetry I have written while prompted at writing workshops. I will also discuss some of the things I was involved in while attending a fabulous workshop in New Mexico with Francisco Alarcon. My new book "Vigorous Calm" is in the editing process and will be published by Pecan Grove Press soon. This collection of poetry was inspired by places close to my heart with a bit of "love" poems which I will share with you on June 21st. I am also a contributing writer to a play which will be presented in Austin in October.
