Justice

What is justice?
How do you weigh justice when a child has been sexually abused? Not once or twice instead on  a daily basis for years. By a relative in the victims home and at times in the abusers home.  The abuse begins with fondling at the age of 11 and by age 13 the victim is pregnant. First question people ask is "where are the parents?". Dad has left home because mother was discovered having an affair. There are four children left behind; the eldest (boy) age 10, girl (age 9), girl (age 5) and girl (age 3). The 9yo girl was mom's secret keeper. Mom took her along on her secret encounters with her boyfriend. One day when dad was questioning mom about her whereabouts the secret keeper stepped in to correct mom when she seemed to have forgot where she had been and with who. As a result of this dad left home and went back to where he came from leaving behind a wife and four children. Mom was angry, hurt and in shock and blamed the 9yo for dads departure and while holding a knife to the child's throat mom blamed her for her downfall and expressed her hatred for her while wishing her dead. She also told the child she was no longer her daughter and never would be again. This is where the parents are when the abuser finds this child alone and unwanted. he gives her attention and holds her knowing there isn't anyone else who wants to hold her. The abuse begins here. This child is surrounded by a circle of abuse beginning with abandonment. Now at almost 48 years old there is a consistency in this 9yo life of neglect and abandonment. What is justice?
